Rebeca E. Peters' Obituary
Bloomington- Rebeca E. Peters, 49, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday, August 08, 2012 in her home with her family by her side.
Rebeca was born on March 12, 1963 in Moline, IL the daughter of Orlando and Susana (Polit) Cabrera. She married David M. Peters on June 7, 1986 in Decatur. She worked as a nurse at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington and was a member of the Evergreen Tennis Club in Bloomington.
Rebeca is survived by her husband, David; parents, Dr. Orlando and Susana Cabrera of Arizona; sons, Taylor D. Peters, Jared M. Peters, and Hayden C. Peters all of Bloomington; brothers, Steve Cabrera and Alex Cabrera (Vicky) both of Arizona; sisters, Diana Holland (Greg) of IN; Gloria Eichenauer (Tom) of Forsyth; Lucy Doak (John) of Arizona; Laura Thompson (Cory) of Arizona; mother-in-law, Jeannine Peters of Decatur; special friend, Amalia Galarza of Quito, Ecuador; and her dog, Bubba.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Mauricio Cabrera.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday August, 11, 2012 in St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. John Burnette as Celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Gardens in Graceland Cemetery.
