Richard D. "Dick" Rambo's Obituary
Dick was the son of Jesse James and Marie Lucinda Hanson Rambo. He was retired from Firestone where he worked as a tire builder, and a Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post #99, a member of American Legion Castle Williams Post #105, Moose Lodge #684, and Eagles Lodge #507. He married Barbara Jean Richardson on February 13, 1971 in Decatur.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Elizabeth Rambo of Tempe, AZ.; step-sons, Charles Cissna, wife Connie of Bowling Green, KY,; Robert Cissna, wife Paula of Eustis, FL.; Thomas Cissna of Nappanee IN.; and Donald Engel of Houston, TX. Step-daughters, Connie Moon, husband Larry of Showlow, AZ.; Donna Dillman of Decatur. Fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren; special nephews, Rick and Tom Rambo, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
His parents, five brothers, and one sister preceded him in death.
