Robert "Bob" Graven, age 63, of Forsyth, IL passed away at 12:51 PM on June 28, 2020 at Taylorville Memorial Hospital in Taylorville, IL.
Bob was born on March 20, 1957 in Decatur, the son of J. Robert E. and Esther Lucille Dowd Graven. Bob married Kathy Shelato on September 15, 1979 in Moweaqua, IL. Kathy survives of Forsyth. Bob is also survived by his father: J. Robert E. (Judy) Graven of Taylorville, IL; sons: Clayton (Jaclyn Whisler) Graven of Macon, IL; Garrett (Heidi Hedges) Graven of Decatur, IL; Grandchildren: Evelynn Graven of Mt. Zion; Lana Graven of Macon, IL; JaKoby Hedges, ZoeyBell Hedges, LillyOnna Hedges, all of Decatur,IL; Brothers: Ron (Cindy) Graven of Coldwell, ID; Russell Graven of Taylorville, IL; Sisters: Rhonda (Mark) Thompson of Decatur; Ramona Daniels of Decatur, IL. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Esther and 2 brothers Randal Graven and Roger Graven.
Bob was a member of New Beginnings Church of God in Decatur. He loved God and his family. He enjoyed cars of all types and attending tractor pulls.
Private Graveside services for Bob will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Moweaqua, IL with military honors by Macon County Honor Guard. The family is inviting all to attend an open house to honor Bob’s memory from 1:00-3:00 PM on July 3, 2020 at the home of Clayton Graven, 181 W. Andrews, Macon, IL.
