Kent, our prayers & thoughts go out to you & your family during this time of sorrow.. Leonard & Beverly Estell
I remember when he and Peggy would come workout at the Decatur Athletic Club. She would come early and Bob later. Such a very nice man. Always the gentleman. Always a smile. Bob will be missed by many.May God Bless you all.Melissa Rhodes
Dear Boaz Family,Even though we moved away so many years ago I still have fond childhood memories of Mr. Boaz and how patient and fun loving he was with all of us neighbor kids.My sincerest condolances to you all,Sam Ritter
Ron, this is Karen. Mom was thrilled when we read your message to her. So wonderful to hear from you after all these years. Big Bob always thought so highly of you AND your parents!
It was one of the highlights of my sportscasting career to do a story on #24 of the Memphis State Tigers in 1985 when the Tigers were in the final 4. Not only did star player Keith Lee wear 24 but so did Big Bob back in the 40s. To know that Big Bob enjoyed that story so much that he showed it to everyone that would watch for the past 30 years brings a tear to my eye and pride and joy to my heart. The Zuraks loved Big Bob and always will.
Peggy and kids, So sorry to learn of Bob's passing. The Boaz family were great friends of my Mom and Dad and provided a great deal of comfort to my Dad and me when my Mom died. Bob was as nice a man as you could hope to meet, easy going and pleasant with a great sense of humor. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers. Ron and Judy Acks
Bob was one of the most wonderful men I have ever had the privilege of knowing.A kind, faith-filled gentleman, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend describes Bob. He died the way he lived; joyfully and peacefully. What a gift he has been to so many. He will be dearly missed. Sister Marianne Nolan, O.P.
To the Boaz family: Only great memories of your dad; what a fan he was of his children. You all will be in my thoughts.Roger Lowe
