Robert J. "Bob" Murray's Obituary
Decatur – Robert J. “Bob” Murray, 66, of Decatur, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Imboden Creek Living Center surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born in Moline, IL on July 4, 1947 the son of Joseph and Irene (Leenknecht) Garagano. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and worked as a radio broadcaster and T.V. weatherman for many years. Bob married Sandra A. Baker on August 4, 1984 in Springfield, IL.
Surviving is his wife, Sandy; daughters: Elizabeth (Glenn Westfield) Murray and Mary (Jason) Magerl; grandchildren: Tommy Hunter, Tiffany Hunter, and Sydnee Magerl; great-grandchildren: Payton Hunter and Alivia Hunter. Bob is also survived by his mother Irene Williamson and many friends.
Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 7, 2014 from 4 pm to 8 pm in the Holy Family Parish Center, 2400 S. Franklin St., Decatur, IL 62521. A private family funeral service will be held.
