Robert E. Dunne's Obituary
Mr. Dunne was born in Decatur on October 27, 1920 the son of Joseph Edward and Ina Barker Dunne. A graduate of Jacksonville Illinois School for the Deaf, Mr. Dunne was a founding member of Holy Family Catholic Church, past board member of Soyland Access for Independent Living, member of the Decatur Deaf Club, Central Illinois Catholic Deaf Society, and National Fraternal Society of the Deaf. Mr Dunne worked as a tool and die maker for the Grigolet Co. for twenty five plus years before retiring in 1985. He married Mary F. Fafoglia on October 20, 1956 in Springfield, and she preceded him in death on March 07, 1996.
Surviving are his daughters: Patricia A. Logan of Mattoon, Rebecca Jane and Maureen E. Dunne both of Decatur; sisters: Margaret Sikora of Toms River, New Jersey; Catherine L. Barron and Barbara J. Benedict both of Decatur; grandson, Daniel Logan of Decatur; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His parents, wife, two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
