Bob was the son of Robert C. and Elizabeth Friend Gabriel, Sr. He was a retired leter carrier and a Navy veteran of the Viet Nam Era. He married Virginia E. Malloy on September 03, 1966 in Decatur.
Surviving are his wife of Decatur; son, Patrick Gabriel, wife Tracy of Forsyth; daughter, Kelly Swallow, husband Brett of Decatur; sister, Pauline; grandchildren: Chelcy. Seth, Ashley, and Collin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dad will be a guardian angel to us all.
