Robert Earl Hines, 61, of Decatur passed away on April 5, 2009 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Homegoing services will be 12 noon Saturday April 11, 2009 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Hughes officiating. Visitation will be on hour before service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
Robert was born on December 21, 1947 in Brownsville, TN the son of Otis and Mary Jackson Hines Sr. He was a retired truck driver for Carry Transit. He graduated from Carver High School in Brownsville, TN.
He leaves not to mourn but to have fond memories his children, Janet Newborn of Brownsville, TN; Tina Smith of Virginia; Brandy Hines of Decatur; Teric Hines of Peoria; adopted children, Vannitta Hines of Decatur; Vanity Hines of Decatur; Patricia Hines of Decatur; Jeremy Hines of Decatur; Tyishia Hines of Decatur; Brittany Hines of Decatur; brothers, Otis Hines Marie of Decatur; Roden Hines Laverne of Decatur; sister, Betty Wiley of Decatur; a host of nieces and nephews; and a host of grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family of Robert Earl Hines is being served by Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2801 N. Monroe Street, Decatur.
