Robert Andrew Hogan, 94, of Decatur died on Thursday, April 22, 2010 in St. Mary’s Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Joe Molloy as Celebrant. Visitation will be 5:00 ' 7:00 pm Monday with a Vigil Prayer Service at 4:30 pm in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Holy Family Catholic Church.
Robert was born on December 19, 1915 in Dalton City the son of Charles and Ella Tomlinson Hogan. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was a Veteran of the US Navy. He was a retired farmer. He married Ann B. Conlin on April 8, 1953 in Arcola.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; son, John Hogan Janet of Dalton City; grandchildren, Craig Hogan, Lynn Hogan, and Alan Hogan all of Dalton City; brothers, John. J. Hogan of Paris; Daniel Hogan Judy of Macon; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers: Raymond Hogan, Edward Hogan, Wayne Hogan, Donald Hogan, Vick Hogan, and Paul Hogan, and two sisters: Josephine Fogarty and Rose Mary Hogan.
