Robert Lee Kraudel's Obituary
Robert "Bob" Lee Kraudel, 75 of Decatur died Monday January 12, 2004 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be 7:00 pm Wednesday January 14, 2004 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Decatur, IL. There will be a time of fellowship and refreshments in the church enrichment center following the service. Visitation will be 4:00 - 6:30 pm Wednesday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home Decatur, IL. Burial will be 1:00 pm Thursday in St. Ann's Cemetery Nashville, IL. Memorials: to the American Heart Association. Condolences: to the family at www.moranandgoebel.com.
Bob was born July 20, 1928 in Centralia, IL the son of Peter and Matilda Liske Kraudel. He graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He was a retired chemist from the A.E. Staley Company. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and a U.S. Air force Korean War Veteran. He also had a private pilot license at one time. He married Arlene Kraudel on July 14, 1959 in Belleville, IL.
Surviving are his wife, son, Dr. Kenneth Kraudel Sherrill of Springfield, IL; daughters, Rebecca Cloyd William of St. Louis Co., MO; Elizabeth Hauser Joseph of Belleville, IL; Lynette Chausse Paul of Decatur, IL; Seven grandchildren, Ryan Kraudel, Justin Kraudel, Jessica Cloyd, Joshua Cloyd, Alexa Chausse, Elizabeth Chausse, and Daniel Chausse.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Kenneth Kraudel.
