Robert William Sullivan's Obituary
Robert William Sullivan, 88, of Mt. Zion, died 7:40am, Wednesday, April 7, 2010AD in Imboden Creek Living Center.
Prayer Service will be 12:30pm Monday, April 12, 2010 in Moran and Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield with Military Rites Conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard.
Robert was born in Hartford, Vermont, son of Hazel and Edward Sullivan.
He was a career Army officer and served in World War II and Korea and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1963.
Surviving are his daughter, Bonnie Drumm and her husband Michael, nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Avalon and granddaughter Elizabeth.
