Roberta was an avid gardener and we spent many hours talking about plants, swapping plants, shopping for plants and dreaming about plants. She would often say "you can't kill that" about some plant that was so easy to grow it practically raised itself with no care. And, she introduced me to Verbena bonariensis. Still a favorite today. It self seeds and so I think of her each year it blooms. She will never be forgotten.
