Rodger L Wilderman's Obituary
Rodger L. Wilderman, 64, of Oakley, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, in Decatur, IL.
He was born on January 18, 1961, in Pana, IL, to the late Howard and Ruby Dean Wilderman. He married the love of his life, Frieda D. Wilderman, on July 28, 1984, in Tampa, FL. She preceded him in death on July 15, 2015, after 30 years of marriage.
He is survived by his children, Kristen Wilderman and Francine Kohrs; grandchildren, Gage, Haven, Zach, and Emery; brothers, Eddie Dean, Samuel Wilderman, David Wilderman, and George Wilderman; and beloved sister, Patricia McCreary.
Rodger owned and operated Wilderman Pest Control for many years. He was an animal lover just like his wife. There was always a pack of dogs in his life and he wouldn’t have had it any other way.
Honoring his wishes, no public services will be held. Rodger will be cremated and inurned together with his late wife, so that they may spend eternity together in the care of their daughter, Kristen.
“I had many friends over the years, too many to list. You know who you are and I will miss you all until we meet again.”
