Rolland G. Trudeau's Obituary
Decatur- Rolland G. Trudeau, 65, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Rolland was born May 22, 1948 in Malone, NY, the son of George and Madonna (Miller) Trudeau-Fort. He was previously employed with Laborers Union Local #159. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially enjoyed playing pool, camping, and canoeing.
He leaves behind his mother Madonna (Miller) Trudeau-Fort, sons Shawn Keith (Lisa) Trudeau of Oreana, Shane Ray (Beverly) Trudeau of Moweaqua; sisters Bonnie Coventry of Decatur, Donna (Glen) Barker of Decatur, Patty (Ray) Barton of Lovington, Cindy (Randy) Dowdell of Watseka; grandchildren Shawn, Trent, Taran, Travis, and Savana.
He was preceded in death by his father George, brother Sonny, sisters Sylvia and Joyce, nephews Jimmy and Tommy, twin grand nephews, and stepfather Bernard.
Services to celebrate Rolland’s life will be 12 noon Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in C/O Donna Barker.
