Rollin Odell Hines' Obituary
Rollin Odell Hines departed this earthly life on Sunday, May 10, 2009 and entered into his eternal life. Rollin O. Hines was born on January 26, 1977 in Decatur Illinois to the parents of Roden Odell Hines and Laverne Ray Hines. Rollin was married to Jennifer Rodgers in 2004 and they were the parents of, three boys Jeremy and Jordan Rodgers and Rollin Odell Hines JR RJ.
Rollin attended public school in Decatur. He accepted Christ at at early age while a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was baptized by Reverend Robert W. White. Later on in his life Rollin joined Life Changers Church were Bishop G.E. Livingston is the pastor.
Rollin leaves behind to cherish his memories Roden and Laverne Hines parents; Jennifer and three sons RJ, Jeremy and Jordan wife and sons; Cynthia Wilder-Butler, Nashville; Dana Ray-Dotson, Cheryl Hines sisters and brother Rodney Hines all of Decatur; Marie Ray of Decatur grandmother. Ten nieces and nephews Nycoria and Rodney Hines JR of Champaign; Davon High, Erianna, Eriya, Eric JR, Edric Bramlett of Decatur; Julian Hines of Decatur; Cylena Butler of Nashville; Danielle Dotson of Decatur. Patrick Butler Cynthia of Nashville and Donald Dotson Dana of Decatur brother in laws. Otis E. Hines, Danny E. Ray, Dwight Ray, Jeffrey E. Ray, Curtis M. Ray all of Decatur and Paul E. Ray of Milwaukee WI, Tracey L. Ray, Atlanta GA and Larry Pirtle of Jackson TN uncles. Betty Wiley of Decatur, Betty A. Ray, Tampa FL and Mildred J. Musgrave, Bolivar TN aunts. Ethel Holloway and Thelma Hayes of Detroit MI, Gloria Brown of Jackson TN, Dora Francis Thurmond and Debra Eubanks of Decatur, Kizzie Duckworth of Brownsville, TN great aunts. Henry Musgrave and Farry L. Jones of K. Jones of Brownsville, TN, Curtis M. Jones of Decatur, Lemonia Hines of Mansfield, OH great uncles and a host of cousins and friends.
Rollin was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Hines who named him and his grandfathers Otis Hines and Jake Musgrave, and his uncle Robert E. Hines.

Homegoing service will be 12 noon Saturday, May 16, 2009 in Life Changers Church, 1305 E. Prairie, Decatur with Bishop G.E. Livingston officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service in the church. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. The family ask in lieu of flowers that you make monetary contributions to the American Heart Association.
