God Bless you and your family.Dr. Meng was truely and inspiration and a blessing to me, my mother and my entire family. You see, by the grace of God and Ronalds compassion, remarkable skill and understanding, he saved my mothers life on Oct. 14, 2002: Eulalia Ohlpatient #61 DMH.She had triple bypass and immediately after her surgery suffered an aortic disection-I will never forget that Ronald stayed with my mother until the early morning hours of the next day and he was with her all day during both her surgeries. His true understanding of the trauma my mother was experiencing and her family led him to speak gracefully and confidently to myself and my entire family and after my mother was on the road to recovery, there was not a day that passed that I did not see him caring for my mother and talking with the family. Many of the early mornings while I stayed with my mother started by Dr. Meng coming to the lounge to discuss her progress, often times sharing a cup of coffee with me.My mother was hospitalized for almost one month and during this month Ronalds sincerity and dedication to her recovery was so obviously seen in his eyes.I will never forget how truely blessed my mother and myself and my entire family was to have known Dr. Meng. Prior to her second surgery as he was leaving the waiting area where myself and other family members were located, he grabbed my right arm and told me he would do whatever he had to do to bring her safely back to us. I cannot find the words to describe the look in his eye and the strength in his voice, but I can say that I will NEVER forget this and during such a unplanned experience, somehow, someway he made me feel that things were going to work out. You see, this I truely Beleive was a grace from God.If such was Gods will for this to have occured, how special of a blessing from God that Dr. Ronald Meng was lovingly placed to care for my mother. He and my mother shared a love for the Cardinals and he laughed alot with her about this.May the memories of Ronald stay forever warm in your heart and may you know that our sincere blessing is for you and your family.I truely beleive that Ronald is sharing the warm sunshine and peace, for he so touched so many lives.God Bless you;Angela Ohl-MarstersEulalia and Raymond Ohl Assumption, IL US
