Ronald Perry Tish's Obituary
Decatur – Ronald Perry Tish, 72, of Decatur passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
Ronald was born January 28, 1944, in Decatur, the son of Virgil and Thelma (Cameron) Tish. He was a retired police officer of the Decatur police Department and Army reserve veteran of the Viet Nam era. Ronald was a Harley Davidson and Classic Car enthusiast who was married to Ellen M. Grabowski.
Surviving are his wife, Ellen of Decatur; children: Ron (Wendy) Tish of TX, Jennifer Banks of Decatur, and Teddy (Jessica) Grunden of TX; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother, Mike (Bonnie) Tish of Mt. Zion; fur babies: Buzz, Scarlett, Allie and Huni bunny; mother of his children, Judy (Crawley) Tish; half sister, Faith Powell and deceased husband Perry; many relatives and friends.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, and son-in-law, Vinson (Rallo) Banks, and half brother, Sven “Ben” Bailey.
Services to celebrate Ronald’s life will be 11 am, Saturday at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Casual attire is requested. Burial will be Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 9 am in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Decatur Animal Shelter or Hudson’s Halfway Home.
