Rosa Mary Washington's Obituary
Rosa Mary Sutton Washington, 81, of Decatur, died 11:10 am Monday July 16, 2007 in Genesis Medical Center East Campus at Davenport, Iowa.
Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, July 21, 2007 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.
Ms. Washington was born May 14, 1926 to the union of Mr. Isaiah Ike and Rosie Lee Flenoid Sutton, in Cleveland, MS. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, dedicating her life in May of 1972. She was a former employee of Fairhaven’s Christian Home, retiring in 2004.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two sisters, Beatrice L. Baker, Mary Robert Hall of Decatur, IL; three brothers, Lougeanes Ernestine McGee of Talmetto, Georgia; Joseph H. McGee, Robert Deborah McGee of Decatur, IL; three daughters and son-in-laws, Carolyn Larry Treadwell-Butler of Decatur, IL; Gwendolyn Henry Treadwell-Musgrave of Davenport, IA; Pamela Greg Treadwell-Waller of Waldorf, MD; three granddaughters, Alisha and Michelle Young of Atlanta, GA; TaLia Musgrave of Davenport, IA; and one grandson Zegory Zeke Musgrave of Davenport, IA; special friend, Carlina Cobb of Decatur, IL, special daughter, Colleen Naguina and family of Davenport, IA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Geneva Sutton, two brothers, Roosevelt Sutton and Abe Jr. McGee.
