Born in Piopolis on October 15, 1932, Rosanna was the sixth of seven children in the Anton and Bertha Karcher family. She took tremendous pride in her status as a Charter member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She married Leo George Frey in Piopolis on May 10, 1952. Her pride in her Church was rivaled only by the pride she carried for her nineteen grandchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren. Whether it be Christmas, Thanksgiving, or the annual weekend at the cabin on Lake Shelbyville, Rosanna made sure her family was the utmost priority in her life. In turn, she imparted the importance of family and togetherness on her daughter, sons, and grandchildren. Her life is a testament to the importance of living life with the ones you love. For life is only as good as those with whom you share it.
