Rose M. Watts' Obituary
Rose M. Watts, 88, of Decatur passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 in Imboden Creek Living Center.
Rose was born on November 25, 1928 in Pana, IL the daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Budds) Spinner. She was a member of Ss. James & Patrick Parish. She married Chapin “Art” Watts on October 1, 1949 in Pana, IL. They celebrated 68 years of marriage.
Surviving are her husband; son, Steve Watts (Diana) of Mt. Zion; daughters, Brenda Oliver of Decatur; Cheryl Gatlin (Stanley) of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Raymond “Cotton” Spinner of Pana; grandchildren, Leslie Dennis (Mark) of Bloomington; Chris Lee of Tucson, AZ; Angela Cain of Mesa, AZ; Selena Clark (Matthew) of Decatur; Shane Watts of Decatur; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and five sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, July 6, 2017 in St. Patrick Catholic Church with Very Rev. Joseph M. Molloy V.F. as Celebrant. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Thursday in the church. Memorials are suggested to Ss. James & Patrick Parish.
