Rosetta King's Obituary
Rosetta King, 75, of Decatur, died Friday, June 19, 2009.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, with Todd Young officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service Thursday. Burial will take place in Macon County Memorial Park.
Rosetta was born May 25, 1934, in Washington County, Miss., daughter of Junious and Ellen Lovins McGee.
Surviving are her children, Jimmy King, Jr.; Cynthia King; Sharon King; Renee King; Renette King; three sisters, Charleen Young, of Decatur; Thelma Peoples, of Decatur; Goldie Clark, of Peoria; four brothers, Willie McGee Ann, of Chicago; Elvin McGee, of Chicago; Roosevelt McGee Marylin, of Chicago; Charles McGee Barbara, of Peoria; several grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmie King; and one son.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Aspen Ridge Care Center for all their care and attention.
