Rosetta Martin's Obituary
Rosetta Martin of Decatur Il, was called home to be with the Lord on August 29,2023. Rosetta was born on July 17th,1959 in Greenwood, Ms to Houston Martin and Rosie Lee Nash. She later moved to Decatur Il and graduated from Lakeview High School. Rosetta gave herself to the Lord at a young age and was a member of Church Of The Living God Temple #3. Rosetta was a dedicated worker at St. Marys Hospital and Zexel for many of her years. Rosetta loved reading her Bible, listening to gospel music, watching Law and Order, shopping, cooking and spending time with her Niece and Great Nieces. Rosetta was know for making the BEST Caramel Cake, Lemon Pie, and Sausage Bread. Rosetta is survived by her Father Houston Martin; Sisters Elizabeth Martin, Lisa Ingram, Emma Pajak, Brothers Rochester Nash, Roy Martin and Alex Martin; Nieces Stephinee Coleman Freeman, Tina Grayned, Makaylah Hays, Makylah Hays, and Makyah Hays; Nephews Demetrius Freeman, Darrius Freeman, Demontre Freeman, Damichael Beard, Wayne Ingram Jr., Qwayne Ingram, and Jacori Martin; niece, Keondra Brown, and Special Friends Amy Thaxton and Evelyn Anderson. Rosetta is preceeded in death by her Mother, Grandparents, and Brother Bobby Earl. Rosetta was loved by many and her and her smile will be truly missed.
