Ruby Ann Thompson Bolyard McCabe, 78, of Oakley passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Ruby was born on March 14, 1935 in Vandalia, IL the daughter of Harry and Amelia Mae (Stimpston) Thompson.
Surviving are her sons, Tom Bolyard (Jenny) of Decatur; Bill Bolyard of Decatur; daughters, Evelyn Lowe (Mike) of Lovington; Penny Basford (Buck) of Marinna, FL; Carolyn Shipman of Marinna, FL; Elizabeth Christison (Mike) of Oakley; LaVone Bolyard of Decatur; Mary Thompson of Plat City, MO; sister, Norma Warner of Vandalia; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 9 siblings, 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
Service to celebrate Ruby's life will be 1 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to Cancer Care Specialist of Central Illinois.
