Ruth Anne Krekel's Obituary
Decatur-Ruth Anne Krekel, 59, of Decatur, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 in Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Ruth Anne was born March 23, 1957 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas and Alice (Curry) Krekel. She was previously employed as a draftsman with the Exelon Clinton Power Station. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Social Sorority and graduated from Richland Community College.
She leaves behind her brother Paul Krekel of Decatur and niece Christina (Brian) Williams of Richmond, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters Mary Rankin, Sarah Krekel, and Teresa Krekel.
Graveside services to celebrate Ruth Anne’s life will be 10 AM Thursday, June 30, 2016 in Macon County Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Camp I Am Me.
