Just saw obituaries. I always remember the float buildings among other things. "Dragon to Victory". Lots of napkins and chicken wire…Mrs. Morthland was always joyful and energetic, no matter what was happening.
Aunt Ruthie [not a blood Aunt, but Aunt by friendship] was a dear friend to both of my parents. She was a rock for my Mom after my Dad passed away. I heard many many "stories" of the good ol' days that included Aunt Ruthie and Uncle Dick!! So sorry to the family for your loss.
We are so sorry for your loss Suzy and Ed. "M" was like a second mother to me when I was growing up. I also think of Rick and Dick often. Your whole family influenced me so much and we had such great times together! She will always be in my heart.Steve and Mary Briggs
I have known Ruthie my whole life. She was my Aunt Joyce's best friend. She was one of the sweetest and kindness people I have ever known. I will miss this elegant lady but I know she will be reunited with Dick and "Joycie". My thoughts and prayers are with Suzi and her family at this sad time.Stephanie Elder
