Ruth Elizabeth Reynolds-Beckham's Obituary
Ruth E. Reynolds-Beckham 84 of Decatur died Friday September 22, 2006 in Imboden Creek Gardens.
Funeral services celebrating Ruth's life will be 10:00 am Tuesday September 26, 2006 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home With Pastor Michael Damery officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.
Ruth was born on February 26, 1922 in Decatur the daughter of Roley and Delcie Walters Ogden. She had worked as a clerk for Norman Cleaners. She was member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and American Legion Women's Auxiliary. She married Stanley L. Reynolds on July 5, 1941 in St. Charles, MO he preceded her in death in 1976. She then married Eugene Beckham on November of 1979 he preceded her in death in 1991.
Surviving are her sons, Phillip Reynolds and wife Carolyn of Decatur; Alan Reynolds and wife Carol of Decatur; brother, William Ogden of Bethany, OK; grandchildren, Jill Stewart and husband Rob of Lake Villa, IL; Jeff Reynolds of Pennsylvania; Megan Birch and husband Mike of Decatur; Aaron Reynolds and wife Dawne of Decatur; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and one brother, Jim Ogden.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the care and concern that was shown by the staff at Imboden Creek Living Center and Gardens and the staff of the 44th Street Renal Care Group.
