We admired and loved Ruth, our sister-in-law, and remember many family occasions, especially Christmases when our children were young--lining the kids up for a picture by the tree. In the late 70's, we would have a new baby each year, and just when we had them all sitting down, the youngest would usually tip over. No problem, because Dad Taylor would take lots of pictures till we got a good one of Kevin, Laura, Kim, Ryan, Jonathan and Lisa. Enjoy your heavenly home, sweet lady!
Grow up Ruth would write stories. My older brother Fred found one of stories and was reading it, much to Ruth's displeasure. One part a young girl said" I just cut my foot on something sharp in the closet." The father said "it must have been my golf club" we all laughed till we cried at the sharp golf club. She has been a rock and I can't think of a brother and sister being closer than we were" are" She is an example of Christian charity. My baby sister.
Taylor Family, We are sorry to hear bout your loss! Ruth was my Moms best friend at Parkway, and I know the two of them are up in Heaven catching up on lost time.. Prayers to you David and your Family!! Mom will keep her company till you meet again..
Sonya and I always had a hard time moving from the Decatur area. When we were teenagers she always made sure we were included. She will never know what an impact that made for us.
