Sarah Marie Weaver, 64, of Decatur, IL passed away on June 9, 2021 at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL.
Sarah was born on March 16, 1957 in Decatur, the daughter of Robert L. and Agnes J. (Truebe) Kolbeck. Sarah is survived by her children: Matt Weaver and Mindy Weaver; brothers and sister: Steve (Marta) Kolbeck; Sue Kolbeck; Tony (Gail) Kolbeck; 3 nieces: Ramie (Sam) Weisser; Maggie (Mike) Thompson; Colleen Kolbeck; great-nieces and nephews: Evan, Ellianne; Melanie, Myles. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Agnes Kolbeck, and a great-nephew: Isaac Weisser.
Sarah was a graduate of St. Teresa High School and Richland Community College. Sarah was a lifelong Catholic. She was a lover of music and art. She was family oriented, and loved spending time with her kids as well as her great-nieces and nephews. Sarah was also known for her sense of humor and her uplifting personality.
Services to celebrate Sarah’s life will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday (June 17, 2021) at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be held on Wednesday (June 16, 2021) from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Sarah will be laid to rest in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials may be made to the family.
