Scott John Kwasny's Obituary
Scott John Kwasny, 74, of Decatur, died Fri, Mar. 2, 2007, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be 10 am Mon, Mar. 5, 2007, in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm Sun, Mar. 4, 2007 in the funeral home with Masonic Rites at 4 pm. Burial will be in Harristown Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard.
Scott was born Aug. 14, 1932 in Urbana, the son of Fred and Creta Easley Kwasny. He worked as a machinist/consultant for Mueller Co. retiring in 1993 after 43 years of dedicated service. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran; a member of Northwest Christian Church, Warrensburg Masonic Lodge, Ansar Shrine and Scottish Rite. He married Wanda L. Hendrick Oct. 14, 1955 in Wood River.
Surviving is his wife, Wanda of Decatur; children: Joseph Kidd of Decatur; Janis Brown and fiancÃ?©, J. Daniel Gunther of Prospect, KY; Michelle Durbin and husband, Michael of Troy; grandchildren: Lacey Brown, Brittany Durbin and Nicole Durbin; special friends, Wally and Shirley Rostek of Florida.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, one infant brother, and one daughter-in-law, Pam Kidd.
