Sean "LogiK" Patterson's Obituary
Decatur-Sean Steven “LogiK” Patterson, 35, of Springfield, formerly of Champaign, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 in his home.
Sean was born October 3, 1979 in Oak Lawn, Illinois, the son of Patrick and Ellen (Balmer) Patterson. He was an artist and cofounder of the not for profit organization No More Victims 2. His passion was activism, writing, and performing and he loved music, art, and poetry.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children Noah Patterson, Zachary Hottman, Jacob Patterson, Aimee Hottman, Racine Wells, Deshanae Wells and sister Elizabeth Rodriguez.
Sean is also survived by his grandmother Sandra Henson, brother in life Matt Henson, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, niece Makilah Tyus, and nephew Jacob Pruitt.
Services to celebrate Sean’s life will be 8 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family in c/o Kelly Pierro.
