My first real job was at "Ken's" in Mt. Zion & I met a wonderful "older" woman (she was 27 !!) who became a lifelong friend. A couple of years after starting this job, I had an opportunity to go on a wonderful last minute vacation & everyone said NO!, you'll lose your job, but Sharon told me to go for it, so I did….got my job back when I returned & I've always thought she had something to do with that ! She was a beautiful person who cherished her family, friends & community…I will miss this sweet lady……
I went to grade school and high school with Sharon. She was always nice to everyone. I know she will be missed. Mardell Sidwell Klasen
We send our condolences to the Holeman family. She always had a smile .Norma & Dwight Miller
Donnie and family,Bob and I send our sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother. We know how hard it is to lose a parent! If we were able to be in town, we would be with you for her service. It meant so much to us when you came to my Dad's service. Take care and comfort in the knowledge that she is in heaven; your special angel now!Sending hugs,Becky Peer
I was saddened to see that Sharon had passed away. I am so thankful that I stopped and talked to Don and let him know that I was praying for Sharon and her whole family.I have known Sharon for many years and my memories of her was her love for everyone that she met. I don't think I ever seen her without a smile on that beautiful face. She was one of the few that could be called an angel. I know that she will be missed by many, but her beautiful spirit will go on. Know that your family is in my continued prayers.Barbara MorganMt. Zion
My deepest sympathy to the Holeman Family. I will always remember the nice visits we would have when I called her to sign checks for the school district. No matter what she was doing she always signed the checks and had then back to me before I needed them. She will be someone I will miss.Kathy Shepherd
My deepest sympathy to the family of Sharon. The Mt Zion community certainly lost a treasure. I knew Sharon from the Prairie State Bank and when I worked at the library and she served on the board. She was a lovely gracious lady. I will always remember her. Prayers to the entire family. 🙏🙏Marsha Bollinger

To the Holeman family,So sorry to see that Sharon has passed away. She was always so good and kind to my sister Becky and me as kids when we would come to the house to play with Donnie, Debbie and Doug. That was her way always, always made us feel welcomed. We are thinking of you all at this most difficult time. Dave Runyon of Riverside, CA
