Sharon Lea Sparks-Lourash's Obituary
Sharon Lea Sparks-Lourash, 74, of Decatur, IL, received God’s promise of eternal life in Heaven on Monday, November 11th, 2019.
Ms. Lourash was born on August 26, 1945 to Elmer and Lois (Bradley) Sparks. She worked at GE, and later as a private caregiver. She was a devout christian, and member of Foursquare Gospel Church. She married Larry Lourash on June 29th, 1963.
She was the proud mother of Julie Lourash of Decatur, IL, David (Liz) Lourash of San Angelo, TX, and Christopher (Kimberly) Lourash also of Decatur. In her heart,
she held special places for her grandchildren Sierra White and husband Jaason, Madison, Reger and Ledger Lourash.
She loved coffee, animals, singing, dancing, fashion, and was a gifted pianist. She had a signature infectious laugh. She will be missed dearly and remembered for her kindness, her smile, and her heart.
She is survived by Larry Lourash, their children and grandchildren, sisters: Juanita Anderson of Washington, Naomi (Jack) Boneham of California, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents.
Her family is being served by the Moran and Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services where a visitation to celebrate Sharon’s life is pending. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Heritage Behavioral Center or Catholic Charities. www.moranandgoebel.com.
