Sharyl Brady's Obituary
Sharyl Brady, born February 26th, 1948 in Decatur, IL, passed away April 4th, 2023 peacefully at her home where she loved to be surrounded by family and friends. Sharyl was married August 2nd, 1969 to Jim Brady. They had three children together, Lori Hanes (Todd) of Clinton, Lisa Tidwell (Tim) of O'Fallon, IL, and Christopher Brady (Phina) of Pontiac, IL. Known for her kind and generous heart and love of growing all things flowers, Sharyl will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Sharyl's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her children and grandchildren Kayla Adams (Josh) of Clinton, Cole Hanes of Clinton, Hannah Nell (Erik) of Whitestown, IN, Samantha Tidwell of Chicago, Jonathan Williams of Pontiac, Jacob Williams of Pontiac, and Mia Brady of Pontiac. She was thrilled to welcome 4 great-grandchildren Penelope Williams, Damon Williams, Hadley Williams and Leah Nell. She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved brother, Stephen Sinclair. Sharyl was a member of St. John's Catholic Church for nearly 50 years and made many special memories and close friends that filled her life with joy. Sharyl's cousin Nola Jean Flesh was a special friend, and they had many adventures together. Gloria Wilford was a special friend for many years and was like a sister to Sharyl. Sharyl loved working for many years as a Daycare Teacher at Tiny Tots Daycare in Clinton. A ceremony will be held at Moran and Goebel funeral home, April 10th, 2023. The family will receive friends there from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the funeral services and burial immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Catholic Church in Clinton.
