Shelley L. Kissell, 47, of Decatur, died Monday October 29, 2007. In honor of her wishes, services will be private and her body will be cremated. Visitation will be Saturday, November 3, 2007, from 1 to 3 pm at the Church of Jesus Read Obituary
I just found out about Shelley's passing last night, and hope that Phyllis will maybe find this message sometime. Your daughter and I were really friends- the kind of friends where I thought I had all the time I needed to get back in touch and get back right. Bilbo and I enjoyed very much being your parents' home & visiting teachers throughout the years. I love Shelley very, very much and my heart breaks again for you now. Shelley did love each of you very much, she told me that. We will understand this & her feelings better in a short while. I too wish the 2nd Coming were tomorrow! Phyllis and family–I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Shelley was a caring, sensitive person, one whom I'm privileged to say I knew. I saw her several times recently at Speedway, and she seemed to be doing well. I am shocked and saddened by her passing. , IL US
Shelly was the first friend I made when I moved to Alaska 7 years ago. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome and we became instant friends. She could make me laugh so hard with her intelligence and wit and could find humor in the craziest situations. I really liked just hanging out with her. The one thing I will always remember her for, is that she loved her children more than anything else on earth and told me that often. She really wanted to be a good mom. She is someone I will love seeing in the after- life because she was a wonderful friend, person and mom. I love her and always will. Anchorage, AK US
