Shirley Marie Bower's Obituary
Shirley Marie Bower, 76, of Decatur, passed away October 12, 2018, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Shirley was born January 9, 1942, in Decatur, to Kenneth and Louise (Harminson) Thomas. She married Dale Bower on August 22, 1959 in Lovington, IL. Together they owned and operated B & B mobile Home Service, Inc., in Decatur since 1974.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dale; her two daughters, Lisa (John) Weatherford and Dale Anne (Jeff) Tuggle both of Decatur, IL; her granddaughter, Jillian (fiancé Nick Halford) Weatherford of Decatur; her grandson, Jake (fiancé Bridget Jestis) Weatherford of Argenta, IL; and her sister, Patsy (Leland) Wright of Clinton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Honoring Shirley’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2801 N. Monroe St., Decatur, IL. No services are planned.
