I am saddened by the loss of Steve. I saw him at my Mother's funeral (Suzanne Reeder's) funeral in January.I have such happy memories of growing up next door to the Schalawskis'! Could not ask for a more ideal childhood! Steve and my brother, Andy, were very tight and engaged in some real adventures!I will always remember Steve as a kind, fun and joyful person! I first met Steve my freshman year in high school. I quickly learned what a rebellious, stubborn and independent person he was…from my being his football team practice tackling partner to our first parentless vacation camping in the smoky mountains. Steve was fearless…from helping me conquer my fear of heights to risking his own safety jumping into a river to help others. He was a people person with a heart of gold. I had more fun with Steve than I can recount here, but rest assured we had some awesome times together.I will love, miss and remember him for the rest of my life.Manford
So sorry for your loss. Steve was our sales rep many years ago in the ADM Tax Department. He helped us keep all of our books up to date in our Tax Library. I really enjoyed working with him. He was always very pleasant and helpful.

From reading all of the posts on different pages on fb everybody said that he was one of "the good guys". And he was. The last time I talked to him, I thought I had him convinced to go to our 40th reunion but he didn't show. I think he would"ve enjoyed it. Not too many people knew his story. Very saddened to hear of Steve's passing. We were classmates together at St. Pat's and he, Andy Collins, Ann Julsen and I used to spend a lot of time playing when we were young and running around the neighborhood.
