Sue Ann Banks' Obituary
Sue Ann Banks 71 of Decatur died Friday February 23, 2007 in St. Mary's Hospital, after a courageous 15 year battle with breast cancer.
Mass of the Resurrection will be 9:30 am Tuesday February 27, 2007 in Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Joe Molloy as celebrant. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Monday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4:30 pm. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the family for future designation.
Susie was born on June 4, 1935 in Decatur the daughter of Daniel R. and Viola M. Bruder Neihart. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was a homemaker. She married Maurice Banks on July 3, 1954 in Decatur.
Surviving is her husband; children, Danny BanksTeresa Worth; Cindy Michael Booth; Terri Chance Phil Galligan; Pam Kerry Mitchell; all of Decatur; Patrick Cheryl Banks of Argenta; brother, Richard Linda Neihart of Decatur; grandchildren, Jennifer Ron Pritchard, Travis Chance Stacy Huddleston, Trisha Banks Ryan Lindley, Tara Banks, Bryan Booth Becca Wayne, Daniel Banks, Evan Mitchell, Haley Chance Jason Bough, Kylie Mitchell, and Cole Banks; niece, Tracy Neihart; nephew, Tom Neihart; special friends, Fran and Ben Cameron; son-in-law, John Chance; daughter-in-law, Kimm Fletcher; three aunts, one uncle, several great-nieces, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like thank Dr. Wade and the staff of Cancer Care for all their help and care. They would also like to thank Father Joe and Sister Mary Ann for all their prayers and support.
