I am truely sorry to hear of your loss. I hadn't seen Sue since I was in the 3rd grade. At that time, I spent many hours playing house in her yard. Sue was a pleasant memory of my childhood. Always very sweet and caring. May God bless your family during this difficult time. Springfield, IL US
I have had the privelege of seeing Sue interact with her family on many occassions. She loves her children and their children unconditionally. My sympathies to Sue's family. I had the pleasure of working with Sue at DMH. She possessed a mastery of admitting that was hard to duplicate. I always knew Sue would have the answer to whatever admitting question I would have. And, she never hesitated to help her fellow co-workers. She was a kind, wonderful, and thoughtful person who will be greatly missed. Springfield, IL US
My sympathys to the family. I will miss Sue tremendously. She as a great cp-worker, good friend for many years, and wonderful teacher. She had a knowledge of admitting mastered by few others past and present. She loved attending rummage sales, reading, gambling, collecting buttons, stamps and cookbooks. If ever I needed a recipe and could not find it, it was just a matter of asking Sue and she would come up with one! She loved her little house that she finally got moved into….but more than anything, she loved her family! She and I both had knee replacements with in a day of each other, were in rooms next door to each other in the hospital, attended therapy together and was off work at the same time. We would occationally meet with our "old DMH buddies" to talk over old times and to keep up with each other. I really will miss talking to Sue and sharing the good times. She was truely a special person and her memory will be cherished by many. Clinton, IL US

I was not fortunate to know Sue as long and some, but I do know that she loved life, being a Mother, and a grandmother. She was very proud of her children and seemed to always be there for them when they needed her. She was a very special person, and though I am saddend to know that I will not be seeing her again, I know she is in a better place with our Lord.I will keep all her family in my prayers for I know this loss will be difficult. I had the honor of working with and being trained by Sue at DMH. She is the kindest person I have ever met. She trained with the patience of Job and the heart of a mother. She also trained my son Kris when he worked at Dmh for a brief period and he too thought the world of her. She will not be forgotten and our prayers and thoughts are with her family whom she adored.
