Ted Anthony Willenborg's Obituary
Ted Anthony Willenborg, 69, of Argenta, passed away February 13, 2023, at Fair Haven Senior Living.
Ted was born in Decatur, Illinois, on June 17, 1953, the son of Anthony and Teresa (Emmerich) Willenborg. He worked at Firestone for many years, and later he became a truck driver. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Most importantly, he loved his family, especially his grandkids.
Ted is survived by his children: Loni Garren of Springfield, Tara (Dave) Schultz of White Heath, Megan (John) Scribner of Blue Mound, Joni Choudary of Aurora, and Brian Willenborg of Argenta; siblings Bobby Willenborg of Decatur, Rick (Lucy) Willenborg of Decatur, and Greg Willenborg of Springfield; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Peggy Ragan.
Moran and Goebel Funeral Home is providing cremation services for Ted. A visitation will be held from 10am to 11am on Thursday, February 23 at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow, beginning at 11am in the funeral home. Burial in Mt. Gilead Cemetery will follow the service.
