Teresa Ann Snead's Obituary
Teresa Ann Snead, 60, of Decatur passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 in Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Teresa was born on August 19, 1952 in Bluefield, WV the daughter of Raymond and Eva (Poszich) South Jr. She had worked at ADM and was a very energetic, loving, and outgoing person. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, working in the yard, and feeding the birds. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She married Kenneth Snead on December 9, 1990 in Decatur.
Surviving are her husband, Ken; daughter, Janet Guest (Craig) of Sullivan; son, Mark Wicklein (Chris) of Mt. Zion; step-daughters, Angela Thomas (Paul) of Miami, Fl; Rebecca Andersen(Larry) of Bradenton, FL; brother, Raymond South III(Cindy Pollert) of Oakwood; sister, Judy Garrett (Van) of Lovington; and 8 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Barnes Jewish Hospital for all their care and concern.
A service to celebrate Teresa's life will be Friday, 1 PM March 1, 2013 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Brown officiating. Visitation will be 6 ' 8 PM Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Leukemia Foundation.
