Terry Lee McCarty's Obituary
Taylorville - Terry Lee McCarty, 68, of Taylorville, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2016.
Terry was born June 3rd, 1957 as a twin to parents John McCarty and Mae Jean (Gist) McCarty. Terry was a traveler through life. He spent much of his young adult life crossing the country and working odd jobs. Those that worked beside him knew what a hard worker he was.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, enjoyed watching game shows and loved old western movies. His friends and family will remember his sense of humor and charming wit.
He is survived by his son Jeremy McCarty , bother Ben (Rhonda) McCarty of Decatur, sisters: Alice (Tom) Christenberry of Litchfield, Debbie (Rick) Samson and Donna (Mark) Weaver both of Taylorville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his twin Jerry McCarty, brother Roger McCarty, niece Katy McCarty and nephew Robert Samson.
Services will be held at a later date.
