Terry Lynn Sadowski's Obituary
Terry Lynn Sadowski, 77, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away October 30, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.
Terry was born in Decatur on April 18, 1948, the son of Wayne and Betty (Gentry) Sadowski. He married Martha Crowe, and they enjoyed over 50 years of married life together. Terry served proudly and honorably in the US Navy after graduating from high school. After his return, he worked as a computer technician for Borg Warner, Haines and Essick, and the State of Illinois. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, computers, and spending time at his cabins in Pana. Most of all, he loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them, especially his great-granddaughter. He was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Decatur.
Terry is survived by his wife Martha; brothers John and Jerry; son Timothy; grandchildren Tyler, Maekayla (David) Sutton, Logan, Brian, Destiny, and Erin; great-granddaughter Shahara Foxie-McCoy; and special friends Cortney and Tara. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Terry will be held on Friday, November 21 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1pm and will be followed by a funeral service at 2pm. Burial at Camp Butler National Cemetery will take place at 2pm on Tuesday, November 25. Condolences may be shared with the family at https://www.moranandgoebel.com.
