Terry Lloyd Underwood's Obituary
Terry Lloyd Underwood was called home Tuesday, January 16, 2024 while being at Sullivan Rehab and Healthcare.
He was born on February 12, 1943 in Dalton City to his parents Walker and Belva Underwood. He married Diane Underwood on February 20,1966. He lived a full life with his kids and making sure his loved ones were taken care of. He was an army veteran and retired from being a switchman at Northfolk & Southern, and after retirement he went to work being a landscaper at Decatur Park District. He collected John Deere tractors and always worried about his family. He was always an avid Shamrock Tavern Supporter.
He was survived by his children Lana Moody (Thomas), Todd Underwood (Renee Lowe), and Paul Underwood and a boatload of grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother George (Popeye) Underwood and Mother-in-law Joan Short.
He was preceded in life by his parents Walker and Belva Underwood. His children James Dean and Paula Faith. His brothers Donald, Charles (Chuck), and Larry Underwood. His sisters Sandy Brown, Margie Scott, Doris Peters, and Lorna Underwood.
Terry Underwood Grave site services will be held at Marrowbone Cemetery, Bethany, IL. The service will be held on February 24, 2024 at 1pm. Following services celebration of life will be held at Bethany library Banquet Room.
