Theodore Roosevelt Roby's Obituary
Theodore Roosevelt “Roby Doe” Roby, born July 18, 1943 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to T. Roby and Earline (Griffin) Fuller. He moved to Decatur, IL at a young age. Theodore’s step-father Jimmy Fuller was an important part of his life until his. Theodore departed this life on December 21, 2014 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. At his time of transition, his grandson Brylan Green stood faithfully by his side.
Theodore truly loved the Lord and before he became ill he attended Mt. Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed listening to gospel music.
Theodore worked multiple jobs during his life. He had a love for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He lived his life with no regrets.
He leaves to cherish but never forget his love and memories: Step-father: Jimmie Fuller; 3 son’s: Keith (Kay) Roby, Demetrius (Collette) Hill, and Theodore “Teddy” Roby; 3 daughters: Jacqueline “Jackie” Green, Rochele (Donnell) Roby, and Lori (Malcolm) Cook; 3 aunts: Dorothy Biles, Susie Lee Miller, and Martha Groves; 17 grandchildren: Kourtnee Roby, Brylan Green, Rahnishias Eubanks, Brandee Green, Tevin Roby, Juan White, Broderich Warren, Latisha Hill, Trent Hill, Damon Hill-Johnson, Octavia Hill, Jasmine Hill, Tatyanna Roby, Latayjah Roby, Ivan Roby, Amaiah Roby and Demar Roby; 6 great-grandchildren: Kourtnae Roby, Kieara Roby, Keron Green, Kyron Green, Kylie Green and Javier Green.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, six uncles and 3 aunts.
Cremation will take place at Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. Services to celebrate 10 am at Ebenezer Baptist Church 240 North Edwards Street Decatur, IL.
