Geneva Theresa Hexum's Obituary
Geneva Theresa Hexum 90 of Decatur died Thursday July 19, 2007 in fair Havens Christian Home.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday July 24, 2007 in First Christian Church with Pastor Wayne Kent officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Monday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorial gifts are suggested to First Christian Church.
Geneva was born on June 29, 1917 in Decatur the daughter of Charles Anthony and Geneva Ama Strader Flesch Sr. She was a member of First Christian Church and a former secretary for the Civilian Conservation Corps. She retired from Hi-Flier in 1979. Geneva married Albert Forest Hexum on November 12, 1942 in Decatur, Illinois.
Surviving are her husband Albert; sister-in-laws, Louise Flesch and Erna Hexum both of Decatur; nieces and nephews, Robert Flesch Jr., Denise Flesch, Geneva Ritchhart, Tony Flesch, and Jane Flesch all of Decatur; eight great-nieces, two great-nephews, four great-great-nieces, and four great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Robert Flesch, Sr., Charles Flesch Jr., and Jim Flesch, and one nephew, Steven Flesch.
