Thomas Hogan's Obituary
Dalton City ' Thomas E. Hogan, 56, of Decatur passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 in St. Mary's Hospital Emergency Room.
Tom was born October 21, 1956 in Decatur the son of Paul and Patricia (Conlin) Hogan. He was a farmer and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He married Teri Ferrill in Clinton on March 16, 1984. She preceded him in death on October 1, 2012.
Surviving are his daughters, Marci M. (Billy) Rockey of Macon and Rachel J. Hogan of Decatur; son, Charles T. 'Charlie' Hogan of Stuart, FL; grandchildren: Jillian, Elijah and Thomas; mother, Patricia Hogan of Macon; brothers, Phillip Hogan (Jeanne) of Long Creek; Christopher Hogan (Bridget) of Decatur; Michael Hogan (Janet) of Dalton City; sisters, Paula Hirstein (Warner) of Decatur; Pamela Craft (Brad) of Elwin; Patricia Powers of Normal; Janet Adams (Ken) of Independence, MO; mother-in-law, Dorothy Sprague (Bob) of Maroa; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, father, and father-in-law, Ross Ferrill.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday January 17, 2013 in Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Joe Molloy as celebrant. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Holy Family Catholic School or Church.
