My prayers go out to your families Tom, Tim, Joe and Sue. Big Tom was a wonderful guy! He was a good friend of our family as my father and him both did the Dancing Dolls skits together and both were members of the American Legion. Tom always was willing to lend a hand to my dad when working on Hayes Field. Not to forget all of the countless conversations my father had with Big Tom whether it be a Cubs game or dad's tomatoes & cabbages. Both my mom & dad always said that God broke the mold when he made Big Tom. Now all of you have 2 special Guardian Angels watching over you!

The rain came down steadily as the thunder rolled in the distance like the memory of an artillery barrage unleashed in a battle fought long ago. Three sharp volleys of rifle fire by the Guard of Honor, then the beautiful haunting 24 notes of "Tapsâ?, then, did I know this â??Veteransâ? soul had found peace at last. Let us not mourn the departed, but rather thank God that such a man lived.Thank you for allowing us to perform these last Military Rites for your loved one. We consider it an honor to do so.
