Tiheyon D. Freeman's Obituary
Tiheyon DeWayne Freeman, 30, of Decatur died Monday June 29, 2010.
Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Hughes officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Tiheyon was born on April 6, 1980 the son of Erma S. Johnson of Decatur. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon MBC being baptized by his great-grandfather the late Rev. Allen Spates. He was a member of the Boy’s and Girl’s Club. He graduated from Chanute Air Force Base Lincoln Challenge Program in Rantoul, graduating in June of 1998. He was previously employed at McKinley Court in maintenance.
Tiheyon enjoyed living, loving, laughing, Dominos, Chess, BBQ’s with his Steaks being off limits. He loved his Momma Jerlean Emerson that was his first number one ole girl. He loved being with family, friends, fishing with Richard and Jocelyn Hubbartt at their Cowden Home. The Funny Boys of Waggoner- he enjoyed. He loved Play Station 3 games- playing daily with Colten.
Surviving are his mother, Erma S. Johnson of Decatur; brothers, Michael T. Williams, Jr. and Colten C.L. Jones both of Decatur; sisters, ShaReesah J. Johnson of Jackson, TN; and AzSha J. Johnson of Decatur; maternal grandparents, Jerlean & William Emerson and Walter & Sebra Fox all of Decatur; great-grandmother, Birder Emerson of Monroe, LA; aunts, Annette Taylor-Perry, Debra Read, Luella Johnson, and Michelle Warnsley Keith all of Decatur; great-aunts, Lena Royster Osborne of Chicago; Elnora Flinn, Gus Latson of Decatur; Earthel “Sister” Foxx of Walker Springs, AL; Christine Ward Leroy of Monroe, LA; uncles, Hubert Johnson Tonia of Richardson, TX; Clifford Johnson Sharon and Marques R. Johnson both of Mesquite, TX; great-uncle, Willis Fox of Decatur; special cousins, Shawn Rosbon, Teresa Owens, LaTonian J. “Tone” Johnson , and Ronkez Perry all of Decatur; Christy Freeman of Decatur; special friends, Janet “Co-Co” Hill of Decatur; Trey and Greg Malone of Atlanta, GA; Angelo Washington of Waco, TX.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Rev. Allen and Luella Spates, Dink and Erma Fox, Aunt Kendra Desea Johnson, great-uncles, Neal Flinn and C.T. Taylor, and paternal grandfather, Rev Leroy E. Freeman.
