Houser, Tommy's Obituary
Tommy “Tom” Bryan Houser, 74, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, in Springfield, IL. Born on July 19, 1951, in Illinois, the son of Ora Wayne and Eula Irene (Cain) Houser.
Tom married his beloved wife, Tammy Belt, on November 27, 2004, spending a wonderful 22 years together. He enjoyed music, especially classic rock and country music, as well as watching his favorite mystery and crime shows on television. Tom was a loving, caring man to those who knew him. He was kind, simple, and down-to-earth, and will be deeply missed by his adoring family.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Tammy Houser; daughter, Tina; brother, Wayne (wife, Vickie) Houser; sister, Susie Welch; several grandchildren; and furry friend, Jaxx.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Ora and Eula Houser; brother, Gene Houser; and sisters, Pam Schrock and Judy Gray.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Tom at 3:00pm following visitation.
