Venus Cuttill's Obituary
Venus E. Cuttill, 96, of Decatur passed away at 7:00 pm Sunday May 07, 2006 in St. Mary’s Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday May 10, 2006 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Cripe officiating, where visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery in Long Creek Township. Moran & Goebel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Venus was born June 24, 1909 in Kirksville, the daughter of Wesley and Mary Ann Powell Riley. She married Raymond Cuttill on February 14, 1930 in Shelby County; he preceded her in death in 1982. She was a member of the Mount Zion Christian Church.
Venus is survived by her children; Wayne Cuttill and wife Carol of Dalton City, Duane Cuttill of Decatur and Louise Ellis and husband Bob of Decatur, 19 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 41 great – great grandchildren.
Venus was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, four brothers and four grandchildren.
